Montforthaus Feldkirch - stage for big feelings

The Montforthaus is a multifunctional culture and congress centre in Feldkirch. It is linked to the unique, historic old town. What is striking about the building is its soft, round shapes. We developed our signage from this pleasant flowing architecture. The specially redesigned typography in the unique style of the capital lettering gives the building a strong identity.

As a special feature, the hall lettering is cut from smoked pear wood and applied directly to the substrate. The signage leads smoothly and clearly through the flowing building. Due to the frequently changing use of the space, the signage system was temporarily extended to include mobile monitors. For the tarnish protection on the glass surfaces, we used graphic elements that visually imitate a soundtrack. The sequence was generated by a computer programme that converts music into visible signs.
